DARE, DEEP and XDC co-organise workshop: Creating platform-driven e-Infrastructure innovation on EOSC

In the frame of the 7th Hellenic Forum 2019, the DARE project co-organises a project clustering event on Wednesday 10 July 2019 in Athens, Greece at NCSR Demokritos campus.

The full day clustering event is entitled Creating platform-driven e-Infrastructure innovation on EOSC.

H2020 EINFRA-21 projects DARE, DEEP and XDC jointly organise the workshop where other related EC-funded projects and initiatives will be represented. Of central importance is also the representation of EOSChub partners, EC officials and other stakeholders.

More technical discussions, primarily aimed at EINFRA-21 projects, will follow in the morning of July 11.

With the action EINFRA-21, platform-driven innovation was encouraged in order to address hard technical questions of high scientific and societal value, as part of a wider e-infrastructures strategy. The goal of this workshop is to allow participants to inform the wider community on progress, objectives and their vision, increasing the potential for cross-pollination, reducing overlap and spawning new synergies. In addition, the progress and sustainability of platform-innovation projects crucially depends on EOSC. To this end, this workshop will bring together EC representatives, EOSC partners and EINFRA-21 projects to ensure that innovative platform-driven work is exploited on EOSC in line with EC strategy.

The draft agenda of the event is available here for your information.
